We didn’t just parody the genre
Lairs & Lizards: π Edition is a loving parody of classic tabletop roleplaying games, poking fun at every trope, rule, and overpowered character build we’ve ever argued about at the table. It celebrates the chaos, the drama, and the deeply questionable decisions that make RPGs magical—then cranks the absurdity up to eleven. If you’ve ever min-maxed a bard, argued with a DM over fall damage, or cast Fireball in a 10x10 room, this game is for you.

How the Game Works (Mechanics Summary)
Lairs & Lizards: π Edition uses a rules-light system built for fast, chaotic, and hilarious play. Characters are defined by six core stats like Musclitude, Grizzleness, and Moxie, rolled using the sacred formula: 2d6 + π (rounded down, obviously). Every action—be it swinging a sword, casting a spell, or intimidating someone with eyebrow strength—uses an Action Point (AP) economy, with most actions costing 1 or 2 points per turn.
Combat is simple and punchy, with players tracking Damage Digits, and earning Heroic Points to trigger outrageous powers or rewrite the rules mid-session. The system uses a Roll over d20 structure with a few fireworks in the cauldron. Every class has absurdly thematic abilities, like the Scroll Gremlin's chaotic magic surges or the Smite-a-Tron 3000's divine beatdowns that require yelling "SMITE!" out loud.
There are also Player Types, which represent how you play the game—like the Rules Lawyer, Theatre Kid, or Forever DM—each with special meta abilities that bend the rules in ridiculous ways.
It’s fast. It’s flexible. It’s gloriously unbalanced in all the right places.
Full Color, Full Silly
A parody-packed RPG where your stats include “Grizzleness” and your greatest weapon is bad decisions.

Introduce Spell Gremlin
Spell Gremlins are manic spell-slingers powered by caffeine, chaos, and questionable magical ethics. They hoard scrolls like treasure, misfire spells with gleeful abandon, and treat spellcasting like an improv comedy show gone off the rails. Their magic is unpredictable, their spell books talk back, and their solution to every problem is “more glitter, and louder.” Whether conjuring explosive doodles or unleashing anxiety darts, Spell Gremlins thrive on magical mayhem and somehow survive it. Just don’t ask where they got their license. Or if it’s printed on a napkin.
